Thank you so much for providing a faultless service for our wedding in Cornwall on 7 September 2024. The food was absolutely delicious (hog roast, salads, desserts and pasties and sausage rolls for later in the evening) and superbly served. We are very grateful to Liam for his help, advice and professionalism in helping to make our day memorable and crucially worry-free. The staff attending on the day were charming and delightful. Liam provided a hog roast for my 40th birthday party. It was excellent!!! The food was incredible and importantly his staff were friendly, kind and professional. Everything looked and tasted amazing. Liam provided me with plenty of options and time to make decisions leading up to the event, considering the children and dietary requirements of everyone coming. Their clean up was like they’d never been there - everything was taken care of. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
We had a big birthday bash for 115 guests. Liam and his team took all the stress out of planning the food. The Hog roast was superbly cooked and the salads that we chose were fab too. We also chose a selection of deserts which were delicious. Presentation and service was very professional and they even cleared away all the empty plates from around the venue through the evening.
Liam was fantastic from start to finish. He helped me design a bespoke menu for my 60th. We decided not to cook and prep outdoors (it is February after all) and he kept me informed of all changes. I would recommend him and his helpers. The food was delicious, especially the Baileys cheesecake and the quantities were more than adequate. Thank you, Liam and we would definitely use you again (if needed).
South Devon Hog Roast catered a wedding we held earlier this year at Ashridge and went down really well, we had great feed back regarding the food so definitely a great choice if you are looking for food for a special event!
What a fabulous hog roast! Our chef Alex was brilliant, so thoughtful and went out of his way to make it all go smoothly so we could relax and enjoy the evening. The pork was beautiful- so tender and tasty with a salty crispy crackling. Service was very slick and it was all piping hot. Communication and planning with Liam was excellent and gave us confidence. South Devon Hog Roast catered at our Wedding on 7th October 2023 at Country Ways, Umberleigh.They were fantastic from initial contact through to completion.No hassle booking, obviously very experienced caterers who ran through the available catering options, supported us with last minute changes and did exactly what they said they would. Staff on the day, Scott and Debbie were cheerful, efficient and helpful.Great feedback from guests too, who enjoyed the bbq, roasties and various salads.We highly recommend catering from South Devon Hog Roast.Carol & Nick.

We used south Devon hog roast for the evening of our wedding. From start to finish, Liam was friendly, professional and prompt. They organised everything with the venue, it was seamless. They arrived promptly and served a delicious hog roast to our guests; so many people complimented the crackling!!! They even catered to a fair few allergies. Would recommend them to anyone!
Liam and his team catered for our wedding. There was nothing but compliments and positive feedback from all our guests regarding the wonderful BBQ. The food was great quality and plenty of it - the desserts were to die for! Liam not only provided our BBQ wedding Breakfast but also the evening buffet. There was many options and much discussion leading up to the wedding and Liam was able to advise us accordingly. I would highly recommend Liam and his friendly team!
What a fantastic service! Liam has been brilliant from start to finish. The hog roast & salads were perfection & the cracking out of this world! We are so grateful to Liam for his dedication, sitting outside a village hall with only the company of a piggy for 7 hours is no mean feat, but my goodness, it was worth it! We didn’t know it until later, but he cooked the hog, roasties, salads etc all on his own as his colleague was poorly, but was calm & under control & served in time. Thank you so much Liam, you’ve been amazing!
